Training Alliance Group (Tag) Assists Young Mandurah Resident Secure His Dream Career
Jacob Allen, 22-year-old, recently participated TAG’s Transition to Work program with hopes to pursue a career in commercial diving.
TAG job placement coordinator Joe Wright said the program benefited both job seekers and employers. TAG was able to connect Jacob with the chief executive of Franmarine Underwater Services, Adam Falconer-West, who was impressed by Jacob’s passion for diving.
Motivated by this and with the support of TAG, Jacob was able to complete the required diving course and earned himself a position at Franmarine Underwater Services.
“I want others to know that just because you don’t have the right workplace experience or training does not mean you should give up on your dreams,” Jacob said.
